Geneva Pauline Neville Stice of Cave City went to her heavenly home on May 4, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Lidia Doyle Neville and the widow of the Rev. Lenard Stice.
She attended Little Hope School and was a faithful member of Little Hope Baptist Church since Oct. 16, 1935. She graduated from Bowling Green Business College and then moved to Texas to do secretarial work.
She met and married her true love, Lenard Stice, on Dec. 23, 1945. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Cooper (Jewel), Pat Minor and Lydia Carey (Bobby); two sons, Barry Stice (Karen) and Shane Stice (Terri); 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years; her sisters, Lucille Neville, Clara Self and Mae Woodward; her brothers, Leo Neville, Earl Neville, Leon Neville and Cleo Neville; and a son-in-law, Wesley Minor.
Funeral services with the Rev. Shane Stice and the Rev. Michael Woodson officiating will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Little Hope Baptist Church, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, is in progress until 8 p.m. today and is at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
