Allyene Barrow, 89, of Auburn, passed away May 8, 2012, at Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehab in Russellville.

She was born in Logan County on Nov. 30, 1922, to the late Mr. Noah Samson Gregory and Mrs. Bessie Anderson Gregory. She was retired from Emerson Electric Manufacturing Co. and a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Mrs. Barrow is survived by a daughter, Kim Lyons of Auburn; sons, Barry Barrow of Russellville, Terry Barrow of Bowling Green and Merrill Barrow of Franklin; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Barrow; a son, Doyle Barrow; and sisters, Anna Belle Belcher and Josephine Gregory.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, Auburn Chapel, with burial in Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday after 5 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, Auburn Chapel.
