Dortha Jean Robertson Lee, 77, of Auburn, entered into rest Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Logan County on May 31, 1934, to the late Winford and Lorell Bivin Robertson. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Robertson, Kenneth Robertson, Wiford Earl “Buck” Robertson and Wallace Edward Robertson; and a sister, Jo Reid Robinson. She was a retired nurse working with the Auburn Nursing Home and a member of Liberty Baptist Church for more than 50 years, where she was very active.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Garnett “Marion” Lee; son, Gary Joe Lee and Anna of Auburn; three daughters, Lori Brown and Michael of Auburn, Dana Ashby and Clint of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., and Tina Campbell and Brad of Auburn; two sisters, Pauline Edwards of Benton and Shirley Womack of Woodburn; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
Funeral services for Jean Robertson will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home, Auburn Chapel, with Bro. Nick Stamps officiating and burial to follow in Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until funeral time.
The family asks that donations be made to Hosparus. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ashby, Sean Brown, Keenan Brown, Chris Clarke, Michael Chesnut and Craig Edwards.
