MORGANTOWN - Alfred Decker, 82, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Mr. Decker was born March 27, 1930, in Butler County to the late Harrison and Fannie Burden Decker. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ossie Burden and Hally Myrl Hardin; an infant sister, Lois Decker; and two infant brothers, David and Robert Decker. Mr. Decker was a retired machinist and attended Leonard Oak General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Ed Dickerson and his wife, Linda, of Louisville; and a niece, Virginia Nance of Clarksville, Ind.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Noah Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until funeral time.
