BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University baseball team will close the regular season with a four-game homestand beginning Tuesday against in-state rival Eastern Kentucky. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Nick Denes Field.
The Hilltoppers (21-30) are coming off a Sun Belt Conference series loss at South Alabama over the weekend. The two-homer game is the first of his career while his fifth-inning home run extended his hitting streak to a career-high 11 games.
Tuesday night is "$2 Tuesday" at Nick Denes Field where all tickets, food and beverage items are only $2.
WKU will wrap the current homestand with a three-game series against Middle Tennessee beginning Thursday at Nick Denes Field. Game times are set for 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
