Motter Sparks Hot Rods to Third Straight Win

The versatile left fielder reaches base three times on Sunday

Bowling Green, KY Taylor Motter and Tyler Goeddel both smacked RBI doubles on Sunday to spark the Bowling Green Hot Rods (10-7, 48-39) to a 7-5 win over the Lake County Captains (8-9, 39-47) at Bowling Green Ballpark. Starter Parker Markel hurled five innings of one-run baseball to earn his fourth win of the season. Hot Rods hitters took advantage of eight Lake County walks.
