Residents are gearing up to head back to school.
More than 20 businesses and organizations volunteered at the annual back to school bash.
Throughout the day, kids were provided with school supplies and other essentials to start their year off right.
Principal Randy Cook says the bash is essential in order for kids to get ready for the school year.
"Most of these children would go without the essential supplies that we are providing today. Or they may wait until midway through the year to find stuff, but right now they would probably go without," Cook says.
Just over 150 volunteers from around allen county helped out with the back to school bash.
