LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Batman apparently wasn't looking for a Bat-tan.
Lexington police have arrested a man who showed up at a tanning salon wearing a Batman mask after an employee became spooked.
The clerk at Fusion Tanning tripped a hold up alarm around 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday.
Officers say the clerk became was uneasy and scared because the man in the mask was not a customer and didn't have any business there.
Police arrested 39-year-old Julius Anthony Owsley and charged him with disorderly conduct and disguises. It is illegal for an adult to wear that type of mask in Fayette County.
