One off the two Iraqi men who were caught here in Bowling Green and pled guilty to terrorism charges is appealing his life sentence handed down to him last month.
Mohanad Hammadi has filed a notice of appeal to the US 6th Circuit Court of Appeals to review his life sentence.
He pled guilty to trying to send cash, explosives, and guns to Al-Qaida in Iraq in 2011.
Waad Alwan, who also pled guilty to the same charges, received a 40 year sentence and has not filed an appeal notice.
