Paul, Yarmuth Hosting Golf Tourney for Veterans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and Democratic U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth are joining together to host a golf tournament next week in Louisville to benefit wounded veterans.

The "Odd Couple Challenge" tournament at Valhalla Golf Club will benefit the Helping a Hero organization. The group builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans.

Helping a Hero has already built two homes in Kentucky for wounded vets and their families, including one outside Bowling Green and another in Nicholasville.

Paul's wife, Kelley Paul, is on the advisory board and is Kentucky chair of Helping a Hero.

The tournament is Monday, and a sponsor dinner is set for Sunday night in downtown Louisville. Paul and Yarmuth will both speak.
