KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a Tennessee man rescued a woman just before her vehicle was engulfed in flames.
The woman was driving a 2005 Subaru Baja when it hydroplaned Sunday afternoon. The Knox County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle left the road, overturned, struck a tree and burst into flames.
The sheriff's office says a bystander, 31-year-old Dustin Brackins of Seymour, pulled the woman out of her car before it became fully engulfed in flames. She had no passengers.
The woman was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries. She has not been identified.
