The weather has certainly been hot across the state of Kentucky, and even record breaking for one city.

With an average temperature of 82.5 between June and August, Louisville has seen its hottest summer ever.

The mark this year is a full one and a half degrees hotter than the previous high set back in 1936.

The summer of 2010 was also six degrees warmer than the average for the three month span.
