Two-year-old Basia Renee Fletcher was pronounced dead on arrival by authorities near Tupelo Mississippi last Thursday. An autopsy showed she died of blunt trauma to the head and her body had several bruises and burns. Basia was scheduled to return to Kentucky Friday after staying with her aunt and uncle in MIssissippi. 18-year-old Lydia Berry is charged with capitol murder. Her husband, 30-year-old Derreck Berry, is charged with accessory to capitol murder. Basia's funeral will be held this weekend in Leitchfield.
