Adair County Woman Goes to Trial for Starving Children

A South-Central Kentucky woman accused of starving children in her care is scheduled to go on trial in January.

Terri Boschee of Adair County is charged with four counts of criminal abuse.

She was indicted last December after one of the children ran away and went to an area radio station for help.

An Adair County judge says the four children under her care at the time aren't biologically her children.

During a pre-trial conference on Sept. 25, Boschee's trial was set for January 17, 2008.

I agree that it seems a little late to do a recall on the beef . I mean its 2 years old some of it,you know that most of it has already been eaten by the public and our school kids if we have not been sick from it by now the chances are pretty good that we are't going to. We really don't know what we are eating any more unless we have raised it or grown it oueselves. We expect the goverment to protect us from these kinds of things but there is only so much the USDA can do. It is up to the consumers to watch where they get food supplies come frome. After watching about Ms. Rodgers bio I think Ms. Rogers family has the right idea. I bet they raise their own beef cattle and they know what they eat is safe.
