Governor Besehar will get a boost from an unlikely source ahead of next year's campaign, from a Republican.
Former Lt. Gov. Steve Pence thinks Beshear deserves another four years in Frankfort, and has planned a fundraiser for the incumbent.
As for Steve Robertson, the chairman of the G.O.P. in the bluegrass. He remains quiet on the issue.
