A middle school student in Lexington faces criminal charges for posting threatening words on Facebook.
Police did not release his name, but did say he posted comments that basically referred to the destruction of the school.
The posts were made two weeks ago.
When school officials learned about the comments on Monday, they called police.
Officials say the boy meant for the postings to be a joke and did not mean any harm.
