Apple Relaunches TV Service at Cheaper Price
Nine years ago, Apple changed the way people listened to music. Then, in 2007, the company revolutionized the phone industry. After years of iPods and iPhones, now Apple wants to to rethink the way you watch TV.

At Wednesday's launch of Apple's new line of iPods, company CEO Steve Jobs announced a relaunch of Apple TV.

The unit sells for $99; you can rent some TV shows from ABC and FOX for 99 cents.

"Its geared toward more people who don't really watch a lot of television. If you just want to watch a couple of your favorite shows, you can just pay for those and you won't have to pay for full service or something," said Computers Plus manager Jason King.

King says his store offered the original service a few years ago, but only sold a few units. This time, he says it may appeal to more people.

"It's gonna be 99 dollars," he said. "Which is actually less than half of the price of the original one."

King says he thinks the reason the product failed last time was because no one really knew that much about Apple's products. He says that's not the case anymore.

"With Apple becoming so popular here as of recent, even more so than they have before, now with the new iPhones and the iPad, I think it will do a whole lot better this time," he said.

King says his store will likely offer the Apple TV units, but likely will have just a few for sale until he sees how those sales take off.
