The Law Firm of Hughes and Coleman created a new program that will benefit schools in Warren County.

The program is called Pack a Sack, geared toward providing food for children on the weekend who may not have food available to them.

Throughout the month of September, Hughes and Coleman will be collecting canned food items as well as cash donations.

Mickie Love explains the costs of feeding one child in school each year.

"It takes eighty dollars to feed one child for an entire school year. We to get in as much money as we can. There are currently three hundred children right here in Warren County that are recipients of the back packs on the weekend that filled with the food items," said Mickie Love.

You can drop off donations at Hughes and Coleman Law Firm, The Beaver, or any IGA store location.
