It may only be September, but for some in Bowling Green and across the world, it's happy new year!
Rosh Hashanah signifies the new year in jewish religion.
It is the first of four fall feasts and is also known as the 'Feast of Trumpets.'
Jonathan Sax is the congregational leader at Hope in Messiah.
He says the holiday is a time to reflect.
"It's a time of reflection where people look at their lives, evaluate their lives, evaluate their relationships with other people. Their relationship with God, repent of their sins," he said.
Rosh Hashana starts tonight and lasts two days.
It leads up to Yom Kippur which is next week and is the holiest day of the year.
