After one of the largest beef recalls in U.S. history, Topps Meat Company said it's going out of business effective immediately.

Topps had just recently began a recall of frozen hamburger that was expanded to nearly 22-million pounds.

Fear of contamination with E.coli was raised after federal inspectors discovered inadequate safety measures at its New Jersey plant.

Investigators think 30 people may have been sickened in eight states.

Topps meat had been in business since 1940.
