A deputy jailer in Barren County is behind bars himself after being accused of having sex with an inmate.

Thirty-three-year-old Ricardo "Ricky" Huffman was arrested late on Oct. 12.

The Barren County Sheriff's Office says Huffman was arrested after a joint investigation with the Barren County Correctional Center.

Huffman is charged with tampering with physical evidence, sexual abuse second-degree and official misconduct.

He's being held in the Allen County Jail.
