The plentiful rain is causing the burn bans to be lifted in two area counties.
The bans were lifted by the judge executives in Warren and Barren Counties on Oct. 23.
However, lifting the burn ban does not allow you to burn whenever you want.
State law still allows limited burning between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The winds also need to be calm.
Residents are encouraged to notify their area fire department before having any controlled outdoor burns.
