Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice got a rude reception on Capitol Hill on Oct. 24 as she entered the House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing room.
An anti-war protester approached Rice shouting, "War criminal."
Capitol police quickly arrested the protester and escorted her outside.
Police also roughed up other protesters in the packed hearing room, placing them in hand cuffs and dragging them outside.
Meanwhile, during the meeting, Rice told lawmakers moderate Palestinian leaders need to be able to show their people a Palestinian state is on the horizon.
She also blamed Iran for fanning hostilities in the region.
