An Army depot facility is in hot water in central Kentucky.
According to a report filed by the Kentucky Division of Waste Management, the Bluegrass Army Depot in Richmond, a chemical weapons facility, failed numerous requirements leading to four citations by state officials and criminal investigators.
The citations range from failure to characterize waste to improperly training new employees and at the same time, not holding refresher training for old employees.
An Army spokesman says the violations are an administrative issue.
A formal response to the report will be filed in the next 30 days.
