Kentucky State Police arrested 18-year-old Nathan A. Wright of Louisville and two juveniles for the death of 36-year-old Veronica Rothwell who is also known as “Bonnie.”

Rothwell was found shot to death November 14 at Abner’s Gift Shop in Cave City where she worked.

Kentucky State Police say Wright and the two juveniles robbed Rothwell while she was looking up the value of a basketball card.

Wright, who is formerly of Horse Cave, is charged with murder and first-degree robbery. He’s lodged in the Barren County Jail. Police tell us he was arrested in the area while he was visiting relatives for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The two juveniles are both 16 years old. One is from Cave City and the other is from Horse Cave. Their names are not being released at this time, but police tell us they are lodged at the Warren County Juvenile Justice Center.

Police say the three robbed Rothwell for $70.

It’s still unclear how the three know each other. Police are continuing to investigate.
