Last of Jena Six Pleads Not Guilty

The last of the Jena Six to be arraigned pleaded not guilty in court early Nov. 7.

Eighteen-year-old Bryant Purvis was arraigned on reduced charges of battery and conspiracy.

He had initially been charged with second-degree attempted murder.

He's one of six black teenagers charged in the Dec. 2006 beating of a white schoolmate.
