Patti Osborne knows nothing will ever bring her daughter Bonnie back to life. Bonnie’s two children will never get to speak to their mother again. But Patti Osborne is determined to see justice served for the three people who allegedly shot and killed her daughter.

“The Bible says an eye for an eye; I believe the person who shot Bonnie should get the death penalty.”

Rothwell was shot and killed at Abner’s Gift Shop more than two weeks ago. Kentucky State Police say robbery was more than likely the motive behind the killing.

The three men charged with the murder got away with $70 total.

“$70 measly dollars it makes no sense, it gives you a sick feeling in your stomach that there is ruthless people out there that would kill for $70.”

KSP arrested 18-year-old Nathan Wright of Louisville; he is formerly of Horse Cave. Also, two 16-year-olds who are from the area were arrested.

“I remember when my girls were 16; that’s awfully young.”

For now, Patti Osborne continues to mourn the loss of her daughter, but is thankful three people are behind bars.

“I know they can’t kill another human being. There can’t be another family who will be put through this because of their stupidity.”
