The trial of a Kentucky State Trooper charged in the death of a DUI suspect will be held outside of Adair County.
A change of venue hearing was held in Adair Circuit Court on Nov. 6 for B.J. Burton.
Burton is a KSP trooper who was indicted for reckless homicide in connection with the June death of Billy Phillips.
Police say Phillips was seriously injured during a scuffle with Burton at the Adair County Jail.
Phillips later died at UK Hospital.
A judge moved the trial to Casey County.
It's set to begin Dec. 3.
