Muhlenberg County Woman Charged with Cruelty to Animals
Brenda Hogan, of Drakesboro, says she doesn't know why she's being charged with cruelty to animals.

Brenda Hogan says the Muhlenberg County Humane Society is accusing her of harming her animals.
She says officials with the society say her dogs have mange and her cats have distemper. Hogan claims her dogs just have allergies and her cats have been treated for distemper by her vet.
It's been reported that Hogan has 86 cats and 13 dogs, but she says she only has 25-30 cats and 7 dogs.
Hogan says she doesn't want to give her animals up because she doesn't want them to be euthanized.
The Muhlenberg County Humane Society and Hogan's vet declined to comment because the case is still pending in court.
WBKO was unable to reach the sheriff's deputy who went to Hogan's house and cited her to court. She's charged with cruelty to animals and terroristic threatening.
