It's that time of year again when the Salvation Army kettles make their way around town.
Various service organizations throughout the community volunteer their time to ring the Salvation Army bell at different locations in Bowling Green.
Today was the Kiwanis Club's turn to man the kettles for a good cause.
"These monies go to the Salvation Army, to benefit people who are homeless and in need. The Salvation Army serves people throughout the year," said Hugh Runner, Kiwanis club
The Kiwanis Club is an organization that is involved with helping kids, including "Girls Incorporated," Girl and Boy Scouts, and "Kids On The Block."
