Former KY Supreme Court Justice Dies

A former chief justice of Kentucky's highest court has died.

Samuel Steinfeld died on Thursday at the age of 101.

Steinfeld was elected in 1966 to the Kentucky State of Appeals, then to Kentucky's highest court.

He became chief justice in 1972, and retired in 1975.

Steinfeld continued to serve as a special judge in the Jefferson Circuit Court until 1985. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
