Governor-Elect Announces More Appointees to Cabinet

Governor-Elect Steve Beshear announces more appointees to his cabinet.

Helen Mountjoy, of Owensboro, will serve as the new education cabinet secretary.

Mountjoy has served in various educational roles throughout her career.

Micheal Brown, of Louisville, will serve as the justice and public safety cabinet secretary.

Brown holds a law degree from the University of Louisville and has served at several lawfirms.

Brigadier General Edward Tonini will take the position of adjutant general.

He recently served as director of "Your Guardians of Freedom" program in the United States Air Force.

And Rodney Brewer will be the new Kentucky State Police commissioner.

Brewer has served KSP for 26 years.
