Man Who Took Hostages At Clinton Campaign Office Wishes He Had been Killed

The man accused of using a fake bomb to take hostages at a Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign office says he wishes police had killed him during the standoff.

Leeland Eisenberg is being held on 500-thousand dollars bond.

A judge has ordered him to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

In a jailhouse interview he says he regrets not dying that day because now his suffering continues.

His family and his lawyer have said his actions were a desperate plea for help.

Eisenberg, who says he has bipolar disorder says his plan was a suicide plot that was inspired by movies and voices in his head.
