American homeowners continue to have trouble keeping up with their mortgage payments.

A company that tracks the numbers says there were over 200-thousand foreclosure filings in November, compared with around 120-thousand in November of last year.

That's a surge of 68-percent.

But there's a little bit of good news.

California-based Realty-Trac says the November foreclosure filings fell 10-percent from October.

Nevada, Florida and Ohio had the highest foreclosure filing rates in the country last month.
