Incumbent Democrat Hugh Evans is running against former Congressman Republican Woody Allen.
Evans have been Judge for two years after being appointed by Gov. Patton.
Allen has served for 29 years in the House of Representatives. Both candidates say bringing more jobs to the area is their number one goal, especially after Sumitomo's recent announcement that more than 700 jobs will be lost in county.
