A fund has been set up for the family of a badly injured soldier from Woodburn who passed away this week.

Last week we told you about 23-year-old Specialist Brian Gorham.

Gorham was on patrol in his humvee in Afghanistan when it rolled over a bomb, burning more than half of his body.

He passed away earlier this week in a San Antonio hospital.

Now, friends of Gorham are raising money for his family and to make repairs to their home.

Before Brian's injury, they planned on helping the Gorham's reroof their home.

On Jan. 5 they will do this. and are raising money for the materials needed.

If you would like to donate to this or the Gorham family, a fund is set up at Woodburn Baptist Church.

That address is PO Box 38 Woodburn, Kentucky, 42170.
