"They've been pretty typical school days. A day or two after this incident happened and with a lot of news camera showing up, there was a little bit of tension in the hallways. But basically, the day all the news cameras left, everything was back to normal."

Muhlenberg North Principal Denny Vincent says in the two weeks since two freshman students were turned in for an alleged murder for hire their classmates have gotten past it.

Vincent says: "Kids are, they get over things easily and after two or three days everything was back to normal."

"I didn't know it was going on so it hasn't effected me any." Tanner Brown is a senior at Muhlenberg North and he says he didn't know the two freshman students accused of the plot. In fact, he says he heard about it from his mom.

Principal Vincent says the event hasn't hurt attendance much. "Attendance we had a couple of kids who thought they weren't quite safe being in a school where someone would hire someone else to harm a third person. And they stayed at home for a couple of days."

Brown says he has always felt safe at school. "I feel like we have good administration in our school and stuff and I don't feel insecure here, ever."

As for the two students involved in the plot Vincent says: "It was a couple of kids who made a mistake. And they're going to pay a pretty heavy consequence for that mistake. But for most of the students here it was just something that involved two students out of about 825 and it didn't involve them that much and they kept wondering why are all the cameras here."

The two students involved in the alleged murder for hire plot were supposed to have an expulsion hearing at the Muhlenberg county board of education Tuesday. That hearing has been moved and due to the age of the students it is not being made public.
