Some area National Guardsmen are getting ready to leave tomorrow morning. Early Sunday morning the Bowling Green National Guard Unit will be called to duty to help in Bosnian peacekeeping efforts.

This afternoon a send off party was held where nearly 100 guardsmen leaving had a chance to say good-bye to friends and family.

The troops will first head to Muhlenberg County for training and will not be in Bosnia until late February.
