Election day is in just two days from now and many residents may or may not be planning to vote. In fact Secretary of State John Brown says he expects less than half of Kentucky's registered voters to go to the polls for Tuesday's midterm elections.
Research shows voters in their thirties provide more than thirty percent of the total vote and voters in their early twenties provide only five percen to the vote. Weather is also another factor in determining who will vote. Many residents say rain or snow may make them rethink whether they will take the time to vote.
Polls will be open Tuesday at more than 3,000 precincts in Kentucky from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you are registered to vote and need to know where to go you can call your county clerk's office to find out.
