Lucas goodrum's lawyers have been denied again in their efforts to move his trial out of Owensboro.
Judge Tom Castlen denied another defense request to move the trial out of Owensboro because of pre-trial publicity.
The Kentucky Court of Appeals made a similar ruling last Friday.
Goodrum was in court today for the third day of jury selection. 35 potential jurors have made it through individual questioning, with as many as 100 more still to go today and possibly tomorrow.
All potential jurors who are left after individual questioning will return Monday afternoon for group jury selection, when 16 jurors will be picked for Goodrum's death penalty murder trial.
Goodrum is accused of raping and killing WKU freshman Katie Autry in may of 2003.
Opening statements in the case could begin late Monday afternoon.
