Students in the Advanced Science Class at Metcalfe County Middle School have been working on a seatbelt safety program for the last four months. They have created an original logo, characters, an Ebook, a brochure, a documentary, a Public Service Announcement for both the radio and television and a webpage. The Helping your Hometown Partners chose this project for this year's first winner of 250 dollars.
LeAnne Hubbard is the teacher in charge of the project. She says the money will be used to advance the project and hopefully save lives.
