In response to Kristie in Cave City: I too have a son with adhd he is 9. We have gone through h** with bullies and educators who are not trained to deal or even understand adhd. I feel like it is us against the world and its not a good feeling. I have moved because of this and I am very involved in his day to day activities,to try to prevent this from happening again. Adhd mimics so many so many so called (bad behaviors),educators are not educated well enough for these children and that is a shame. I WILL PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN. bg ky

personally I think it's high frequencies that damage your hearing more. If there are any health risks, surely the police themselves should be the one worrying.

The cops are using low-frequency high decibel noise. Military experts have recognized that this type of noise has weapons value. These are called "sonic weapons." The problem is that many of the drivers have their radios and stereos turned up so loud that they don't hear conventional sirens. The cops should be enforcing noise control ordinances instead of inflicting the community with weapons-grade noise. Boomcars, those with loud booming bass amplifiers, also do the same type of damage. Unfortunately our public health "educators" have said very little about the hazards of excessive noise.

i agree with the person that suggested we tax beer, wine and etc. i have thought this for a long time. drinking and driving kills more people than cigs ever did. so what, they only kill themselves but drinking and driving kills the innocent,
