A Legrande Elementary School teacher has $250 to make his classroom "print-rich."

Allen Poynter teaches exceptional education. This week, he was surprised by the Hometown Partners who presented him a check for $250.

Poynter is encouraging his students to fall in love with reading and says it's proven that classrooms filled with books have better readers.

Poynter was the last recipient of the ten-week campaign, thanks to the Hometown Partners, WBKO, Leachman Buick GMC, and Greenview Regional Hospital.
