A day after Kentucky State Police identified the remains of a body found in Hart County, an arrest has now been made.

Jeremy Shields of Radcliff, Kentucky was arrested late Jan. 22 and charged with the murder of 34-year-old Wendy Sue Logsdon of Louisville.

Logsdon's burned body was discovered by a Hart County resident outside Priceville on Jan. 21.

She was last seen on Jan. 18 and reported missing on Jan. 20.

Logsdon was discovered in a remote area, about five miles east of Cub Run.

"So someone was basically trying to hide the body or put it in a place it wouldn't readily be found by people," said KSP Trooper, Todd Holder.

Jeremy Shields is now lodged in the Hart County Detention Center.

His bond has not been set yet.

The investigation is ongoing.
