Searching for Angela Shelton

Angela Shelton set out to meet every woman with her name in America.

During her journey she learned that 28 out of 40 of the women she interviewed had been raped, beaten, or molested.

This statistic shocked Angela and her movie turned into a documentary of all of their stories.

Angela was so inspired by her subjects’ ability to recover and survive, she is on the road to educate the public and help survivors.

She was recently at Western for a question and answer session. Angela will also attend the "Take Back the Night" Candlelight Vigil on March 31 at 6 p.m. at Lost River Cave.
