A former Bowling Green police officer will announce his candidacy to run for Mayor.

A former Bowling Green police officer will announce his candidacy to run for Mayor.
Jerry Wells will officially announce his candidacy for the position of Bowling Green Mayor on Jan. 28.
Wells served 30 years as a Bowling Green Police Officer, retiring in October of last year as interim Chief.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. on jan. 28 in the Commission Chambers of Bowling Green City Hall, and the public is invited to attend.
