A Bowling Green infant born with a rare genetic disorder will undergo his first major surgery Tuesday.
There was an outpouring of community support for little Isaiah Buchanon over the weekend.
A benefit chili supper and silent auction was held to help pay for Isaiah’s medical expenses.
He was born three months ago with apert syndrome, which is characterized by malformations of the skull, mid-face, hands and feet.
Isaiah's first major surgery is scheduled at Vanderbilt.
