While many across the nation celebrate Earth Day, Warren County is also celebrating Arbor Day.
This is the 9th year the county was declared a tree county, meaning it has a tree board, has tree ordinances, and promotes Arbor Day.
Children from elementary school to high school were on hand at Ephram White Park to participate in the activities today.
Phil Moore, the executive director of Warren County's Parks and Recreation, says it's important to get kids involved in preserving the earth, because they can pass the message onto future generations.
