Officials say they aren't worried about the new projects that are taking off both inside and outside city limits, instead they're excited about the possibility of new growth and economic development.

The largest development knocking on Franklin's door is David Garvin's
R-V Mecca, a $53 million attraction planned for Franklin's exit six off
I-65.

The national showcase will employ more than 800 people and pour billions of dollars into the local economy.

A new service industry is already calling Franklin home. Chemway Incorporated recently relocated its Madison, Tennessee plant there.

County officials say these projects and others will likely help speed up transportation improvements on I-65, Kentucky 100 and 31-W South,
in order to accomodate any additional traffic.
