Other efforts are underway across the area to help victims of the storm.

Volunteers from the Salvation Army Services Unit in Barren County has a canteen set up in Monroe County close to the Allen County and Macon County, Tennessee line.

Meals, drinks and snacks are being distributed to those in need.

Logan County 4-H says you can drop off items at Dunmor Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Feb. 8, And at the Logan County Extension Office in Russellville from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 8, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 10

Items are also being collected at New Hope Church in Westmoreland, Tennessee until 8:00 p.m. on Feb. 7, and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 10.

That's on Highway 52 in Westmoreland.
